Why become a member ?

You don't have to be a member to come to our group, or access support from a La Leche Leader (breastfeeding counsellor), but if you are interested in supporting us further, membership benefits are:

• Receive our bi-monthly members' magazine, Breastfeeding Matters
  
• Support your local group. Your membership fee helps us to support mums by supplying the latest information sheets, promoting our group to reach more mums, and purchasing resources for mothers to access. 
  
• Free access the local Group library. Group libraries are open to non-members for a small fee, but some of our books are for members only, especially new editions.
• Half price maternity clothes hire (stock depends on availability).

How do I join ?

There are two ways to join. You can either join online, or print an application form, and simply take this along to our next meeting. 

If you join between October and January you only pay a half years membership, which is £16 per family, and £10 for an unwaged family. Joining between January an September, you pay for a full year membership at £30 per family, or £18 for an unwaged family. 
Other options are available for overseas families and health professionals.
